Communicating with our children can be a difficult task at times. We feel like they’re not listening to us; they feel like we’re not listening to them. Good listening and communications skills are essential to successful parenting. Your child’s feelings, views and opinions have worth, and you should make sure you take the time to sit down and listen openly and discuss them honestly.

In a child’s education an important factor is the parents’ expertise for this “job”. No one is born holding all the knowledge, but we can learn and understand some things from books or advice from qualified persons.

Organic Skin Care for Babies

An infant’s skin is soft, cuddly and very, very delicate. Despite this knowledge, many mainstream manufactures put harsh chemicals in many leading baby products that are intended for daily use. Seemingly innocuous things like lotions and shampoos can even have carcinogenic parabens or other substances that known to be toxic.

In one alarming study, babies who have been using traditional shampoos, lotions and creams showed a high concentration of phthalates in the urine. Phthalates are chemicals that are added to give plastic more flexibility and can be extremely dangerous due to high toxicity.
